Chris Alexander previously worked at various technology consulting firms. In late 2003 he decided to strike out with Shell and formed Big Oak. Their partnership has allowed them to work in collaboration while having the freedom to concentrate on their core interests in the field of online marketing. 
Shell Harris co-founded Big Oak on January 1, 2004. In a previous career he was a print & web designer and often developed the sites he designed before focusing on his current passion for search engine optimization and Internet marketing. He is an avid researcher, SEO specialist, company mouthpiece and is always looking for the next big thing. In his limited free time he can be found watching The Simpsons, reading comic books and collecting vintage posters. Hard to believe he wasn't the coolest guy in school. 
Alyssa Duvall joined our team in 2005 having previously worked with Chris and Shell. Her project management, marketing strategy, and copywriting skills helped the company transition toward SEO-focused engagements.
